A sportsman identified by Chilean Navy as French citizen Fabio Di Pietrantonio (32) fell to the water when his boat capsized, being rescued dead by his expedition mate Williams Odot (37), also a French citizen.
The accident happened apparently due to bad weather conditions. Death had been caused by hypothermia.
Beagle Naval district, responsible for maritime search and rescue, send boat Alacalufe with two divers to give help, with the support of boat Ventisquero which was sailing at the area.
