The Tourism Chamber of Magallanes, Austro Chile, regretting the consequences of the earthquake suffered by an area of the country called eventual tourists to visits Magallanes Region, located far away from the earthquake spots, to not cancel their visits to this region, since the tourism incomes shall contribute to settle reconstruction of the damaged area. por el turismocontribuirán a solventar la reconstrucción del sector afectado.

The statement adds "we have had the fortune of having a territory and its tourism attractions absolutely intact" calling all of those who "inside and outside the country feel as their own the suffering of Chilean people, not to go into the wounds in depth left by natural disaster cancelling their visit to Chile. On the contrary we invite you to come and enjoy our outstanding attractions and natural beauties if you didn?t have it booked".

Patagonia, it adds, keep being an attractive and safe destination, "where didn't even shake but is not probable it would. So we reiterate our invitation to visit Magallanes, the Chilean Patagonia, with the tranquility of arriving to a destination of unequalable beauty, wild landscapes, glaciers, birds and mammals colonies, with plain safety to the visitor.

"All of you who decide to come, specially now, must know that, along with enjoying a region of exceptional attractions shall be contributing to help thousand of Chileans who lost everything with the earthquake and the tsunami".
