The Service of Technical Cooperation approved a 17 million pesos budget for a project of tourism operator made up by three companies, Turismo Ghisoni, Beagle Expediciones and Hostería Agua Fresca, to offer a full service to tourists centered on Punta Arenas.

The project aims to offer the tourist a place where to get all the information needed about the city and its surroundings. "A cozy place where to receive the options, and while been informed, to have a coffee, to read brochures, biographies or see a video of the area. A place where to wait for the tour hired at 7 in the morning while big part of the city is sleeping", said Liliana Ghisoni, owner of Buses Ghisoni, one of the companies part of this association.

The operator will attend 24 hours a day on high season, offering 4 or 5 programs with just one concept: the Strait of Magellan, contemplation and exploration travels to Cape Froward for more than a day on kayak, charters, expeditions and specialized travels on boats, horse riding, all included programs, with a full offer on lodging, gastronomy, handicraft, folklore and complement activities, including tours to Argentina.
