Imagine starting the day with a radiant sun and then for a few minutes, rain and wind gusts over 120 kilometers by hour, giving way again to a blue and clear sky. That accompanied with flamingos, guanacos, condors, glaciers and virgin forests among others which are the scenery for sports from all over the world to try their resistance, superiority spirit and tenacity. These were some of the arguments which took the Killarney Adventure Film jury to vote for documentary “Patagonian Expedition Race” giving it the first place on Adventure category. This festival has been taking force and winning the interest of famous movie names to take part in it. Matt Damon, Clint Eastwood, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, to name a few, are daring to broach a subject every time more in fashion, aiming to raise awareness about sustainable and care of environment through images and accounts on unique and extreme geographic places, such as Chilean Patagonia. The documentary shall be screened in other countries, such as France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Japan.
