Posee impresionantes instalaciones: cámaras de congelación, grasería, curtiembre, conservación de carnes y lavandería de lanas.

This large industrial complex was founded in 1913 by the Sociedad Explotadora Tierra del Fuego (Society for Exploiting Tierra del Fuego) in order to process sheep products from three large ranches in the area. Today, it functions as a meat processing plant and a slaughterhouse. Located just outside the northeast edge of Puerto Natales, Bories contains many different facilities, such as cold-storage rooms, a fat processing facility, a tannery, meat preservation facilities, and a wool-washing area.
