The
trip to the Torres del Paine National Park departs by
07: 30am, after picking up the passengers at their accommodation
places.
Our
first stop is at the Cueva del Milodón (The Milodon
Cave) (a Natural Monument). After a 30-minute excursion,
we go on to the Cerro Castillo, a place where the passengers
can have some coffee, buy some handicraft in the local
stores or exchange local currency.
The
adventure, which includes places like the Lago Sarmiento,
the Laguna Amarga, starts the moment we enter to this natural reserve.
After admiring these astounding landscapes for 15 minutes,
we take the way to the Laguna Amarga, one of the main
entrances to the Park, from which it is possible to
enjoy a different, panoramic view of the Torres del
Paine.
All
over the way, we will meet beautiful landscapes and
lakes like the Lago Nordenskjold, the Lago Pehoé
and the Salto Grande (Large Waterfalls). After driving
by the CONAF Headquarters, we will go on to the Lago
Grey, where there will be a two-hour trekking. Once
at this place, you will truly see the imposing iceberg
of the Glacier Grey.
Our back trip to the city of Puerto Natales is about 19:30.
